Curriculum Reviews

There are many curriculum options available today, so how do you find the best curriculum “fit” for your church; and once you determine your best “fit”, how do you know when or even if you should ever make a change?  Too often we base our curriculum choices on familiarity, marketing and even tradition rather than the carefully thought through and prayerfully considered vision and purpose for our children’s ministry. When we make our curriculum choices based on “familiarity” or marketing, we end up changing curriculum so often the children in our ministry never receive a complete understanding of God’s Word as no one scope and sequence is completed. When we choose our curriculum based on tradition, we may find ourselves utilizing a teaching model no longer as effective, resulting in our children not really understanding or living God’s Word.

Robert Pierre - and Four Free Songs for You!

I'm happy to announce a special opportunity for you to get four free songs off the new full-length CD from Robert Pierre, an 18-year old high school senior from the Orlando, Florida area.  With his high school graduation just around the corner (May 20), Robert has just finished recording vocals for his new CD and is currently in rehearsal for his performance during a few summer festivals. Robert not only sings on this aIbum, but wrote 10 out of 11 songs, played guitar for the recording and sang back up vocals. And not teens only! These songs have powerful lyrics and tunes you will not be able to get enough of, but most importantly - the messages which flow through these songs are the ones with which you want your children and grandchildren to fill their minds . . . and yourself as well. Robert's full-length cd releases later this summer and I for one can't wait to hear it!
